NOTD: Black Cat Nail Art

I thought of what I did to my friend's nails which is the Dog & dog paws nail art, I came up with the idea of "why not put a cat on my nails?".. the hard part and process for me would be choosing some cute colors to use!! haha because I'm running out of nail polish, so as an alternative, I used my Basics Acrylic paint as my base color (I put it on top of a clear nail polish..)

A friendly reminder: PLS DO NOT USE ACRYLIC PAINT DIRECTLY TO YOUR NAILS. MUST BE--> NAIL POLISH BEFORE PAINT  ;) )

Hope you liked it..Let me know what you think! thanks for dropping by. xoxo

Dog & Dog Paws Nail Art

My friend visited me yesterday so I've decided to play and practice doing nail art on her nails hehe..Design inspired by youtube videos and some google photos...here's the outcome:

NOTD: Retro Nail Art - Silver & Pink

This is the first design I tried using the nail art tools i bought last week. I'm still in my learning curve and still familiarizing myself with the brushes and strokes I still need a lot of practice especially when painting with the tools using my left hand... I did not try or practice the strokes on a piece of paper, I got super excited to use the items that I painted my nails right away that's why the design is really messy lol.. I got the idea of the design while browsing photos from Google, unfortunately I wasn't able to get the link from which particular site/blog that photo was posted. I'll find it and once found, I'll post the link here...OR if anyone of you is able to find it, please don't hesitate to post the link in the comment box below...

And here's where I got the idea:
Products used:
  • Bobbie basic nail hardener (base coat)
  • Mwah™ Nail Color by CHIC in Glaze (Go Powquiao!)
  • Basics Acrylic Paint in black
  • Basics Acrylic Paint in white+red = pink
  • nail art brush (stripper & detailing brush)
  • dotting tool

Hope you liked it..Let me know what you think! thanks for dropping by. xoxo

NOTD: Blue & Copper/Chrome Simple Stripes Nail Art

After my Ombre nails, Now I want blue and copper/chrome combination. While browsing through the web for some cute designs, I found this Teal and Copper Tribal Nail Art (design is inspired by Beautopia). I wanted to copy the design because it's really cute!! but my chrome polish is somewhat diluted that i need to put 3-4 coats for it to be opaque :( so I just leave it as it is. Anyway, here's the result:

Products used:
  • Konad nail lacquer in blue
  • Klik nail polish in Frosted Iced Mocha (kind of orangey/copper/Chrome when applied)
  • Konad special nail polish in Black
  • Caronia regular colorless nail polish
  • my very own stripper brush hihi

NOTD: Ombre nails/Sponge Nail art

On a boring day, I was just basically browsing tutorial videos on Youtube. Then I saw this cool nail art tutorial by WinterRose84 called Sponge nail art also known as the Ombre/gradient effect and I was surprised because the design is very easy to do. So yeah, got inspired by the video and checked my nail polish kit and tried it out..

It's my first attempt to create an Ombre/gradient effect on my nails..My original plan is to make the transition from blue to purple (wanted to copy the colors on the video), but it turns out to be blue to pink. This is because I used a baby pink or very light pink color as my base (since I can't find my baby blue polish)..

Products used:
  • Konad nail lacquer in blue
  • Wish™ nail polish in beach babe trio PURPLE & PINK (blue missing hehe)
  • Caronia regular colorless nail polish
  • make up sponge (you can use any sponge available at your house)
  • nail polish remover
  • Qtips
  • tape
Hope you liked it..Let me know what you think! thanks for dropping by. xoxo
